If a book is not what you wanted, you can return it. This page explains how.

The short version

You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to ask to return it. The book must be
unused and in the condition you received it. Tell us first, then send it back, and we refund you.

What can be returned

Any book that is unused and in its original condition: not written in, not marked, spine uncreased,
and with any shrink-wrap or seal intact where it had one. A book that has been read and returned in
sellable condition is fine. A book that has been damaged, annotated or exposed to water is not.

How to return something

  1. Contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@darelchimal.com or
    +961 6 411 611. Tell us your order number and which titles you want to return.
  2. We confirm the return and tell you where to send it.
  3. Pack the books so they arrive in the same condition, and send them back.
  4. Once we receive and check them, we issue your refund.

Please do not send books back before contacting us — we cannot match an unannounced parcel to an order.

Who pays the return postage

You do, if you are returning a book because you changed your mind. We do, if the book
arrived damaged, defective, or was not the title you ordered. In that case we also refund what you paid
to receive it.

Damaged, faulty or wrong books

Contact us as soon as you notice, and send a photograph of the problem if you can. We will replace the
book or refund it, whichever you prefer. This is in addition to your rights under Lebanese consumer law,
not instead of them.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the payment method you used. We process the refund once the returned books have
arrived and been checked; how long it then takes to appear depends on your bank or card issuer.

Cancelling before dispatch

If you change your mind before your order has been sent, contact us and we will cancel it and refund
you in full.
