Ordering

Do I need an account to order?
No. You can order as a guest. An account simply keeps
your address and order history so that ordering again is quicker.

Is the book I want in stock?
The product page shows whether a title is available. If
it is out of stock and you would like it, write to us — many titles can be brought in.

Can you get a book that is not on the site?
Often, yes. Dar El Chimal has been in
publishing and distribution since 1950. Send us the title, author and ISBN if you have it, and we will
tell you whether we can source it.

Editions and condition

Will I get exactly the cover shown?
Usually. Cover images come from publishers, and a
publisher may reissue a book with a new cover. If the specific edition matters, ask us before ordering.

Are your books new?
Yes. All books sold here are new unless a product page says
otherwise.

Do you sell Arabic books?
Yes. See Arabic
& Special, which holds our Arabic-language titles alongside the Arabic editions of series
readers already know in English.

Delivery and returns

Where do you deliver?
Within Lebanon, for a flat $5 however many books you order.
Orders usually arrive 2 to 4 days after dispatch. See Shipping &
Delivery.

Can I collect my order?
Yes, from our premises in Bahsas, Tripoli. Contact us to
arrange it.

What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to return an unused book.
